In June 1986, Carrément Belle opened in Nîmes, offering costume jewellery, bags, scarves, and accessories, featuring their emblem, La Baigneuse. The founders soon decided to create a fragrance, collaborating with a perfumer in Grasse. Their first fragrance, ippi patchouli, launched in 1988, leading to the establishment of Carrément Belle as a dedicated perfume brand by 1991.

Creating pleasure through meticulous craftsmanship is central to Carrément Belle's mission. They spend years perfecting their perfumes, sourcing raw materials, and designing packaging. Over 35 years, they have remained committed to offering original and beautiful perfumes at fair prices.
Founded by Catherine and Frank, with their son Maxime joining in 2010, the brand continues with a small, passionate team. They prioritize working with French craftsmen and partners, ensuring their products are locally made and labeled "Origine France Garantie." Their perfumes are crafted in Grasse, candles are hand-poured, cases are made in Grignan, and bottles are screen-printed in Cléon d'Andran, all hand-assembled in Nîmes.
