Steamery is a Scandinavian clothing care brand with a mission to change the way clothes are treated. Recognising that the lifetime of garments today is unnecessarily short, Steamery aims to shift the behaviour of buying, over-washing, and prematurely discarding clothes. The current approach to clothing care is unsustainable in the long run.

Clothing care is not a new concept. Two generations ago, people knew how to maintain their clothes, but this tradition has since been forgotten. Steamery's founders, Frej, Petra, and Martin, wanted to revive this tradition with a modern solution, leading to the establishment of the brand in 2014.

Popular products include the Steamery Cirrus 3 Steamer, a hybrid between a steamer and an iron. Its hot steam reduces bad smells, kills bacteria, and keeps clothes wrinkle-free, fresh, and smooth between washes. The Steamery Fabric Shaver is another favourite, known for its efficiency and ease of cleaning. Its carefully selected design features two standing positions and fits perfectly in the hand.
Steamery aims to lead the field in making old textiles look new, extending their lifespan significantly.

"I think we all need to slow down. Invest in clothes we really need, take good care of them, and hopefully one day pass them along to a new owner. It’s an essential part of the circular fashion way," says Frej Lewenhaupt, CEO and Co-Founder.
