Sara Naghedi, the founder of Naghedi, launched her eponymous brand in 2015 after nearly two decades in the accessories industry. Disillusioned by the constant cycle of handbags falling out of fashion, she set out to create a timeless collection of durable, seasonless bags. While experimenting with neoprene, Sara’s creativity led to the development of the first-ever woven neoprene bags. After a year of meticulous design and development, Naghedi officially launched in 2016.

The brand’s core mission is to counter the wastefulness of seasonal fashion. Inspired by both past and future generations, Sara designed her signature handwoven neoprene totes to be both stylish and versatile, transcending fleeting trends. Naghedi bags are meant to become wardrobe staples, enduring through the years as instant classics.

Sara, who lives in New York City with her husband and three children, infuses her personal style into each design. Every Naghedi bag is crafted to make the wearer feel elegant, poised, and effortlessly put together, whether for casual outings or more formal occasions.

As the bag fills with more items, the handles stretch to accommodate, eventually transforming into a shoulder strap based on the weight inside.
