MEET THE TEAM

As The Dressing Room’s Founder and Owner, you’ll find Deryane flying between buying appointments and meetings throughout the week or in the office working on her selections for the gorgeous collections that arrive in store. Every day is different, and there’s never a quiet moment for her, but she’s always on the shop floor on Fridays and weekends as styling and the shop floor buzz is what she loves most about working in retail. Having worked in retail for years, she loves nothing more than seeing her team flourish and is really passionate about developing careers in retail. On her days off, you'll find her spending time with her son Leo and getting home furnishing inspiration for her new abode!

Charlotte started as a full-time stylist in 2006 and quickly progressed to Store Manager and has been a key part of Deryane’s team for many years using her degree in Fashion Photography to add creative input. She loves the fast-paced buzz that ensures there’s never a dull day here, as well as working alongside a team that is never short of lots of giggles! She has a gorgeous daughter, Aurelia and son Arlo, who keep her on her toes with their antics, but you’ll find her styling up a storm at work on Mondays, Friday's and Sunday's. 

Following her degree in Fashion Promotion and Communications, Becky joined The Dressing Room in 2014 and is our fun & friendly Ecommerce Manager working on all things web and social media related. She’s super organised & very tidy, so keeps all the office girls in check!  Working alongside the hardworking DR team is what she loves best, but when she’s not at work you’ll find her spending time with her new husband or relaxing with a glass of wine in a pub garden! Perfect at achieving effortless casual style, Becky's favourite brand has to be Rails and is always the first one to be rummaging in the box when a new delivery arrives.

Following a degree in womens Fashion Design, Laura joined us 2014 as the Website Manager.  Laura now oversees the Operations side of the website, shopfloor & stockroom, working closely with Deryane to make sure everything runs smoothly! You’ll find her in the office with a large coffee in hand, having a giggle with the girls. When she’s not at work, she’ll be spending time with her husband and daughter, or spending time with her niece or nephews who keep her very busy! As part of the management team, Laura not only loves the team she works with, but also helping them develop their strengths and careers. 

Jenna joined The Dressing Room team in 2019 as a Part Time Stylist on the shopfloor helping customers with all their styling needs. Since graduating with a First in her Masters in Curation in London, Jenna has rapidly progressed in her retail career and is now Junior Store Manager. Jenna is in her element when helping Deryane with visual merchandising and the customer shopping experience. In her spare time, Jenna loves walking her dog Hollie and spending time with her family and seeing her friends. Jenna would describe her style as edgy, yet feminine - she loves denim and a good chunky boot. When she's not at work, you'll find her grabbing a bagel at Brad & Dill's! Jenna is a super friendly member of the team who is always willing to help, you will find her on the shopfloor 5 days a week so pop by and say hello! 

Charley is our lovely Store Manager, having started in 2015 as a full-time stylist and then quickly progressing to be a key member of Deryane's management team. With a degree in Textiles Design and training in floristry, Charley is a lover of print and colour, you’ll be sure to find her styled in her favourite brands Essentiel Antwerp or Lily & Lionel. When she’s not here, she’ll be with her with her gorgeous Frenchie, Albert, or working on a creative project as she loves all things interiors and gardening. Her guilty pleasure has got to be indulging in some really good food or cooking up a treat at home.

Jacqui joined us in 2017 as our Stock & Order Administrator, working alongside the girls in the office. Liaising with our brands, she deals with all of our stock management. She has now been promoted to Stock Controller, overseeing the stock, deliveries and orders (that come in thick and fast). Her favourite part of the role is seeing all of the new season stock before anyone else! On her days off, Jacqui will be enjoying the great outdoors, and looking after her horse at the stables. When she's not at work, you'll catch her enjoying the peaceful grounds of St. Albans Cathedral. Her most worn brands are Ba&Sh and Frame, and she loves anything with a 70's influence. 

Christine joined the team in 2021 as a Senior Stylist. You'll find her on the shopfloor, helping our wonderful customers look and feel their very best. Her favourite part about her role is being able to empower ladies to feel good in everything they wear, and to sometimes be a little daring! Christine has an infectious smile and a true passion for what she does. You'll usually find Christine wearing Essentiel Antwerp, Ba&Sh, or Stella Nova, she loves a real mix of brands and has an eclectic style. When she's not at work, she'll be spending time with her two girls, taking her dog for long walks, or in Pret buying a coffee! If you see her in store don't forget to say hi!

Amee joined our team in 2019 and works as a Part Time stylist on the shopfloor, having come from a retail background in the past she loves getting stuck in with customers, helping them style up gorgeous outfits and seeing them leave happy. She has now progressed to Store Supervisor, due to her hard work and commitment. Always smiling, she is a bubbly character who always puts a smile on everyone's face. On her days off you will find her rushing around after her two small children Edward and Olivia. She also loves nothing more than having friends and family over for dinner (as she loves hosting) and enjoying a glass of wine to kick back and relax.

Rachel joined us in 2016 as a part time stylist, after a career in fashion buying. She has sinced moved over to the website team, and is now our Website Supervisor. Rachel is often referred to as a 'cool mum' due to her fabulous and fashion-forward style - her most worn brands are Mayla, Rails and Day Birger et Mikkelsen. Her days are very varied, but are usually filled with uploading product to the website and helping customers online. Rachel's favourite part of her role is data analysis - she loves nothing more than looking through a sales report! When she's not at work, Rachel has her hands full with her little boy, Seb and her gorgeous daughter Poppy! Her infectious humour always has the team laughing. 

Naomi joined the team in 2023 as a Stylist. 

Following a degree in Fashion Management, Hannah joined the team in 2022 as our E-Commerce Assistant.

Hannah joined us in 2022 as our Senior E-Commerce Assistant on the website team. Hannah mainly spends her day uploading product to the website, creating newsletters, and helping our wonderful customers online. You'll usually find Hannah wearing Ba&Sh, Stella Nova, Pink City Prints, or Hayley Menzies. Hannah describes her style as classic with a twist, and you'll always find her wearing layers of gold jewellery. Her favourite aspect of the role is how different each day is - in such a fast paced office, each day is incredibly varied. When she's not at work she'll be spending time with her children and husband, catching up with friends at dinner, or in Gail's ordering a hot chocolate!

Leo is our youngest and cutest member of the DR team, coming into the world in May 2018. He has a cheeky smile, loves to get his hands on anything he can find and loves the DR ladies. He loves his mum (Deryane) and is always up for a cuddle when he pops in.....watch this space he could be the future CEO of The Dressing Room.
