Are Agolde True To Size? Do Agolde Jeans Run Small?
As a premium denim brand, Agolde typically offers true-to-size fitting. However, many styles have a vintage or heritage feel with minimal or no stretch, often crafted from a higher cotton content. Fabric compositions are detailed inside the leg of the jean and on the product description online.
Agolde's waistbands are designed to provide support without feeling excessively tight. As a general guideline, there should be minimal space between the jean and your body at the back of the waistband, typically allowing only a few fingers to fit comfortably. Any deviations from this will be clearly outlined in the product description online or communicated by our stylists in-store.
Our jean styles are available in waist inch sizing, and if you have any uncertainties or questions regarding sizing, our team of trained stylists is on hand to assist you. Reach out to us via WhatsApp, email, live chat, or by calling the store. We're here to address any styling or sizing concerns you may have.
Do Agolde Jeans Stretch?
Agolde typically leans towards denim with less stretch, but they also offer styles with stretch elements for those seeking added comfort. For instance, the Harper Crop usually contains 1-2% elastane, while the majority of the Agolde Jeans range is typically crafted from 100% cotton
How to wash Agolde Jeans
As per all our jeans; To maintain the shape of your premium denim, avoid washing it too frequently. When you do wash them; machine washing at a cool 30 degrees Celsius, (or dry cleaning for any coated styles) Remember to turn your jeans inside out and wash them with similar colours.
Dark denim, which is often heavily dyed, requires extra care to prevent colour transfer onto light-coloured clothing, accessories, or upholstery. To mitigate this risk, add a tablespoon of salt to the initial wash to set the dye, and use a detergent like Steamery’s Dark & Denim detergent.
For coated denim, refrain from washing them. Instead, consider folding them and placing them in a bag before placing them in the freezer for an hour to kill any bacteria. Any marks on the denim can be gently wiped away.
When drying your jeans, air dry them and avoid using heat, as exposure to heat can damage the elastic fibres and cause the jeans to lose their shape. Steer clear of radiators or heated airers to ensure your denim retains its form over time
