I am super excited for the launch of my SS25 edit at The Dressing Room, introducing some stunning new collections for 2025 which I think you will love.  It has been a labour of love to find some new brands to bring you some fresh and exciting new product with 11 new collection launches for this season. 

The season itself embraces a dynamic blend of elegance with contemporary, romantic flair.  The key trends to tap into are:

Whimsical Daydream has a dreamy, ethereal and romantic feel.  Fabrics are delicate, flowing and have vintage inspired elements such as lace, intricate embellishments and feminine florals.  Soft tones of cream and pastel pink have a fairy tale allure whilst remaining effortlessly modern.  Style your whimsical blouses with light barrel leg denim and tan boots.

Citrus Bloom captures the vibrant, fresh and playful essence of Summer with a colourful, fruity vibe.  This trend celebrates the joy of Summer through fruit-inspired designs and Summer Market style aesthetics.  Expect to see Fruit motifs like oranges, lemons, cherries and Strawberries adorn Summer shirts, dresses and bags.  This bright colour palette focuses on sunny yellows, fresh green, juicy reds and soft peachy tones.  Combine breezy cotton and linen dresses and puff sleeve tops with woven straw bags and chunky jewellery for a playful, carefree look.

Prep School blends traditional tailoring elements with contemporary flair.  Classic blazers are central to the prep school look, style them with casual elements to create a balanced, stylish look.  Tones here are classic monochrome, shades of milk chocolate, khaki and classic beige to emphasize the simplicity and elegance of prep school style.  

Statement Accessories: The trend for bags is shifting towards larger, softer, plush handbags that offer both style and practicality for these forever pieces.  The practical, chic, understated bag with minimal branding will be your new go-to to complete your outfit, these hand crafted bags have a ‘if you know, you know’ element to them.  

As the sunshine hits, add in some playful accessories and bags for a true Summer Market vibe with fruit emblems, large graphic totes, raffia bags and floral hair accessories. Patterned scarves can be tied around the neck, wrist or bags for an individual look.

Footwear: This season is muted with leather, suede and woven styles in neutral tones with the occasional pop of sunset coral, poppy red and metallic to give a Scandi girl vibe.  Strap and buckle details are key with multiple straps on flats and heels.  Mary Janes and ballet flats are your modern girl go-to.  Flipflops are reimagined in sophisticated leather styles. Trainers remain a footwear staple with low profile, court sneakers a key look for everyday wear.

Colour Palette

This season has a beautiful colour palette that can be taken in a soft, muted direction or vibrant and fresh.  Use your neutrals as a backdrop to your seasonal colours.
