Mayla was founded in 2010 in Sweden by designer Marlene Abraham. Previosuly the brand has started to push and challenge the limits of sustainable fashion for quite sometime. With this in mind the brand has just announced from 2020 they are now 100% vegan and have been officially approved by PETA, the largest animal rights organisation in the world. The certification guarantees that everything produced by the brand is cruelty-free and contain non-animal derived materials. Taking inspiration from independent women that Marlene met on her travels and who she met whilst modelling in Paris for many years. She has created a collection full of classic styles with a modern twists that makes it easy to wear from office to dinner in a flash.
