Beach Powder and Beach Powder Shimmer draw inspiration from the picturesque sandy beaches of the Isle of Man. Founder Stephanie, who resides just moments away from the sea, found herself constantly dealing with the nuisance of sandy skin after enjoyable days at the beach with her family. Determined to find a solution, she embarked on a mission to create a product that could effortlessly remove sand while leaving the skin feeling refreshed.

Stephanie's realisation that many beachgoers likely encountered the same sandy skin dilemma led to the creation of Beach Powder, an all-natural, talc-free sand-removing powder. Formulated with a blend of plant and mineral powders, Beach Powder effectively absorbs moisture without drying out the skin, providing gentle exfoliation and leaving the skin smooth and sand-free. To evoke the essence of a seaside excursion, Stephanie infused the powder with a delightful vanilla ice-cream scent. Stephanie took her creation to Dragon’s Den in 2021 where she piqued the interest of multiple dragons and secured investment in the company. 

Building upon the success of Beach Powder, Stephanie developed Beach Powder Shimmer, which not only removes sand but also adds a subtle, radiant sparkle to the skin. Perfect for adding a touch of glamour to beach outings or any occasion where a hint of shimmer is desired, this versatile product is loved by both children and adults alike. In fact, its captivating shimmer effect has prompted many to use it purely as a beauty enhancer, with its sand-removing capabilities serving as an added bonus.

Living on the stunning Isle of Man, Stephanie is deeply committed to environmental sustainability and strives to minimise plastic waste. To align with this ethos, she opted for recycled cardboard tubes for the packaging of Beach Powder and Beach Powder Shimmer, and sourced plastic-free ingredients for the cosmetic glitter, ensuring that her products not only benefit the skin but also contribute to the preservation of the island's pristine beaches and countryside.
